Thanks again for your patience and cooperation as we made every effort to get out to play round 2 today at Willow Run. In the end, the rain did stop for a while, but the course was still unplayable when we left at Noon with standing water still on several greens. After calling the event we had another strong storm come though at about 1:30 PM that would likely have washed out the round anyway! 

 

It is the first two-day Series event since its inception where we have not been able to complete 36 holes. While we would try to reschedule a one-day event that was canceled, it is not possible to reschedule the second day of a two-day event. Without knowing which competitors would be able to play, it is not fair to everyone. So we revert to our valid 18 hole round to determine winners and points. 

 

Although we were on site and working to try to make the event happen, we feel like a partial refund is in order since you were not able to play. We will be issuing $20 refunds to all players, which is the difference between the entry fee for our one-day events ($55) and our two-day events ($75).
